Internal Complaints Committee(ICC) is formed according to the provisions of the POSH ACT-Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace Act of 2013, 9 th December 2013. (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal).The law provides that an organization that has 10 or more employees, must constitute an internal complaints committee to receive and redress complaints on sexual harassment at workplace.
As per the office order MBITS/2014/2301/06 dated 20th August, 2014 an Internal Complaints Committee (lCC) was formulated in the college in terms of the provisions in the sexual harassment of women act at workplace ( prevention, prohibition & redressal) Act,2013.
This cell aims at sensitizing the students and staff to work diligently to prevent sexual harassment in the college. Complaints of sexual harassment shall be lodged with the Committee and appropriate disciplinary action is initiated by the members in accordance to the rules and regulations of the law.
