  • Ms JYOTHI LAKSHMI P S, a student from the 2020-2024 batch, was honoured with the “Academic Excellence Award” for the year 2023-2024, achieving a CGPA of 9.02, on 14th May 2024.
  • Mr Basil Joy, a student from the 2022-2026 batch of IEEE SB MBITS has been selected as mentor in video software editing (Premiere Pro) in RIT, Kottayam IEEE SB RIT
  • Mr. Livin Sebi, a student from the 2020-2024 batch, received the Best Paper Presentation Award for the paper “Approach to managing IoT smart devices through digital TV video scenes” on 10th February 2024 at the International Conference on SPICE 2K24.

  • Start up from Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department of MBITS, Renvolt Energy Solutions pvt limited received a special recognition most successful start up in electricity and energy sector from engineering colleges by Dr. T. K Jose IAS (Kerala State Electricity Regulatory Commission).
  • Arun Eldho Alias, Asst. Professor, Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department of MBITS has successfully defended his PhD thesis on Topic “Design and Optimisation of Axial Flux Permanent Magnet Motor and Speed Controller for Electric Vehicle Powered by Renewable Energy” on 3rd July 2024. His Ph-D is awarded from Karunya university, Coimbatore.
  • Shiju Ramachandran, Asst. Professor, Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department of MBITS, NSS Programme officer has been selected as the best NSS Programme officer of APJAKTU. Unit 227 is selected as the Best NSS Unit.
  • Mr.Arun Eldho Alias, Asst. Professor, Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department of MBITS has been awarded Indian patent for an invention entitled ENERGY EFFICIENT REFROFITTINGKIT DESIGN FOR CONVERTING COMBUSTIBLE VEHICLE TO SOLAR POWERED for the term of 20 years from the 21st day of January 2019 .
