“Thandav” is an annual inter-college dance competition that forms a key part of the college arts fest “Rhythm.” Each year, this highly anticipated event attracts enthusiastic participation from students representing various colleges. The competition was first held in the year 2018, and later conducted in 2019, 2021 (ONLINE), 2022, 2023 and 2024. Main objective of this programme is to provide a platform to showcase dancing skills of students and to encourage positive competition thereby enhancing their dancing and presentation skills. Esteemed external judges are invited annually to ensure impartial and professional judgment. The competition culminates with the winners being awarded cash prizes and trophies, celebrating their outstanding performances and artistic prowess. “Thandav” not only showcases remarkable dance talent but also fosters a sense of unity and friendly rivalry among the participating colleges.
