The Consultancy Cell of the Department plays a pivotal role in maintaining electronic equipment for the church and various institutions within the Mar Basil Group, pioneering an in-house LED bulb assembly division, and assisting with inverter and power supply maintenance for various companies. This dual focus allows the Cell to address immediate technical needs while also driving innovation in energy-efficient lighting solutions. Emphasizing innovation and quality, the Cell has initiated an in-house LED bulb assembly division that focuses on the production of superior 9 Watts LED bulbs, 9 Watts inverter bulbs, and LED tubes. This venture has proven successful, with significant sales recorded in 2024: 107 SieWatts LED bulbs, 8 SieWatts inverter bulbs, and 2 SieWatts LED tubes. These figures underscore the Cell’s effectiveness in producing and marketing high-quality electronic products.

To further strengthen its industry presence, the Department has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with ConSed International, a renowned manufacturer of Conscious Sedation Machines in India. This strategic partnership has opened opportunities for pre-final year students to engage in a pioneering project aimed at automating the sedation process. The students have successfully completed the first phase of this project as their Mini Project, showcasing their capability and the practical application of their studies.

 In 2023, the Consultancy Cell’s accomplishments were equally impressive, with the sale of 302 SieWatts LED bulbs, 13 SieWatts inverter bulbs, and a notable project involving the Sedation Digital Anaesthesia Non-Invasive Device. These achievements reflect the Cell’s ongoing dedication to technological advancement and its commitment to providing practical solutions that address real-world needs. Through these initiatives, the Consultancy Cell continues to contribute significantly to both the academic and professional development of its students while supporting the broader community with innovative electronic solutions.
