• Mr. Dileep Kumar A, Mr Badusha Ali, Mr Basil Paul, S8 ECE won the best project award 2023- 2024 for the project titled “Pathway Robot”on 14th May 2024
• Ms. Abhirami Aji, a student from the 2020-2024 batch, was honored with the “Academic Excellence Award” for the year 2023-2024, achieving a CGPA of 9.02, on 14th May 2024.

• Mr. Badusha Ali, S8ECE won the “Best Seminar Award 2023-2024” for the seminar titled ‘Developments in Touch Sensors for Flexible Displays’ on March 15, 2024
• Mr Dileep Kumar A ,Chair of IEEE SB MBITS along with team have backed the “Outstanding Student Event Award” in conducting Signal 2.0, a mega event comprising technical workshop, seminar, industrial interaction and hackathon competition on 24th February 2024.
• Mr. Dileep Kumar A, a student from the 2020-2024 batch, received the Best Paper Presentation Award for the paper “Approach to managing IoT smart devices through digital TV video scenes” on 10th February 2024 at the International Conference on SPICE 2K24.
• Ms. Nithya V S, a student from the 2020-2024 batch, received the Best Paper Presentation Award for the paper “ Facial point graphs for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis identification” on 10th February 2024 at the International Conference on SPICE 2K24.
• Ms. Stellamol Sabu, from the 2018-2022 batch, won the Chief Minister’s Student Excellence Award, receiving Rs. 1 lakh, in recognition of her meritorious achievement in the Undergraduate Examination conducted by universities in the state of Kerala on 25th January 2024.

• Mr. Jinto Mathew, Asst. Professor, got an opportunity of a Technical Engineer Intern at Synopsys, Inc. in the fall of May 2024-May 2025 with the goal of gaining experience and knowledge to benefit the college and the students.
• Dr Robin George, Asst. Professor, has successfully defended his PhD thesis on Topic “Investigating the performance of miniatured directional microstrip patch antennas for wireless sensor network” on 10th May 2024. His Ph-D is awarded from Karunya university, Coimbatore. 
• Dr. Sajin C S, Assoc. Professor was honored with a Certificate of Appreciation for his contribution as a reviewer in the Ist International Conference on “Trends in Engineering Systems and Technologies, organised by Govt. Model Engineering College, Thrikkakara, Kochi technically sponsored by IEEE Kerala section during April 11-13,2024.

• In the Year 2014 Electronics Department 2010-2014 batch secured first position for final year B Tech Examination in MG University with a highest pass percentage of 98.
• ECE Department Secured first position for final year Mtech Examination in KTU Ernakulam cluster for Advanced Communication and Information Systems in the year 2016.
• In the year 2017 Electronics Department secured 100% results for the subjects Information Theory and Coding [MGU], Applied Electromagnetic Theory [KTU] and Principles of Management [KTU].
• ECE Department ranked first in KTU V semester Examination for the subject Applied Electromagnetic Theory and Principles of Management in the year 2017.
• ECE Department continuously acquiring rank, within 30 colleges affiliated to KTU.
• M.Tech in Advanced Communication and Information Systems has got 100% result for consecutive 3 years in MGU and KTU.
• Many number of alumini are doing PG and research in NIT and IIT and more than 30% of alumini working abroad.
• Pre final year students have undertaken their project to automate the sedation process for a reputed firm who are the pioneers in manufacturing Conscious Sedation Machines in India. They have successfully completed the first part of the project as their mini project.
• LED bulb assembly is carried out in-house by the ECE department. This unit was used by students to assemble LED bulbs and distribute them to appropriate recipients.
• Final year student project *Grim Reaper* A fire fighting robot for multiple scenarios shortlisted for the exhibition of ‘Abhinav Vichaar2023’ an Intercollegiate state-level project competition for B.Tech students hosted by the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, AISAT.
