MBITS Polytechnic College, established in 2023, is an offshoot of MBITS Engineering College, which belongs to the Mar Basil group of institutions, a pioneering education provider in central Kerala since 1936. The strategic integration of technological studies under one umbrella led to the inception of the Polytechnic College. It is located on the same campus as the Engineering College but with dedicated infrastructure that does not compromise the quality of education. The green campus of this institution is situated at Nellimattom, beside NH 49, in the suburban area of Kothamangalam, with an hour’s reach to the airport and railway station.

The institution offers three-year Diploma programs in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, and Automobile Engineering, targeting the growing opportunities of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. The college features state-of-the-art infrastructure facilities, mirroring the high standards of the adjacent Engineering College.
