Women cell of MBITS conducted Women’s day celebrations on 6 th March 2020,the programme was well planned on 24/02/2020 by the women cell members and students co. Ordinators which led to a fantastic outcome. The poster designing competition, co. Ordinated by Neenu Mathew of S4 CE was really successful with the presence of Teachers and students. There were Nine participants in this competition. It was conducted at 1.00 pm in the Drawing Hall of St. Thomas Block. The Topic was ” sthree – Adukkalayill ninnu araangathekku”. The 1st and 2 nd prize three are given to Mariya Saju( S4CEB)Amrutha Ambily Raju (S6 ECE)respectively.
Another innovative programme of the day was Superwoman Personality contest. The venue was Dr. APJ Seminar Hall, and was co. Ordinated by Anjaleena K B of S4EEE. The Judges of the programme were Mr. Thomas George, Mrs. Sherin Thomas and Mrs. Geethu Shanmughan. There were ’10’ participants in Superwomen and the contest had 5 rounds, The Superwoman selected was Veena Vijayan of S6 CE, she was crowded by Professor Leena Thomas, Dean (Academic )
The Paper Bag Making workshop enhance the creativity in a participants. It was guided by Mr. Munna Basil Mathai and was co. Ordinated by Elizabeth Sabu of S6 EEE. It was conducted at 12.30 pm at Drawing hall of st. ThomasBlock. It was highly successful with the participation of many teacher’s along with the students.
