The Women’s Cell at MBITS, Kothamangalam in collaboration with the Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) organized a Talk on “Empowering Women in the Workplace: Understanding the POSH Act for a Safer Future” for all the women – students, staff and non-teaching staffs of the college. The primary objective of the talk was to address the challenges faced by women in the workplace and to discuss the POSH Act to ensure safe working spaces for women. Ms. Lissy Jose facilitated the session, addressing queries and providing personalized advice to help participants overcome specific challenges. She encourages to build enabling work environments that respect women’s right to equality of status and opportunity.
