A session on “An Overview of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR)” was conducted by Intellectual Property Cell, MBITS on 4th April 2023. The program was conducted in Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Seminar Hall. 159 final year students from all branches attended the program. It was started at 9.15 AM with a silent prayer followed by welcome speech by Mr. Goutham Mohan, S4 Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department. Later on felicitation was delivered by Dr. P. Sojan Lal, Principal, MBITS. The session was handled by Dr. Suji Pramila R, Associative Professor, Department of Computer Science and Engineering and IPR Cell Coordinator, MBITS. The session focused on Intellectual Property Rights like Copyright, Trademarks, Patents, Trade secrets. She also explained the filing process of patents. The session was concluded by vote of thanks, delivered by Mr. Abhijith Santhosh, S8 Mechanical Engineering Department and the program ended at 10.15 AM.
