DAY-1

Inauguration Of Green Protocol At Mar Thoma Cheriya Pally Kothamangalam.

The Haritha Kerala Mission and Sri. Antony John MLA’s waste management project “Aruth Vaikarut” are collaborating with the NSS Units 227 & 571 of MBITS Engineering College to implement the “Green Protocol” from October 1 to October 4 in connection with the Kanni 20 festival at Mar Thoma Cheriyapally. As part of Antony John MLA’s Aruth Vaikarut programme, actor and director Sohan Sinulal launched the Kanniperunnal at Kothamangalam Cheriyapally.

DAY-2

On October 1, 2022, day two of the Kanni 20 gathering. First, the volunteers were divided into groups of three. After that, all of the preliminary work and waste bin setup was completed. Different locations around the church were given to each group. In order to raise awareness of the “Green Protocol in every market situated in the church regions,” they distributed brochures. The workday lasted six hours.

DAY-3

On October 2, 2022, day three of the Kanni 20 gathering, Day 3 was divided into three shifts, and each shift had 50 volunteers. The volunteers were divided into groups that worked in six-hour shifts.

DAY-4

On October 3, 2022, day four of the Kanni 20 gathering, Day 4 was divided into three shifts, and each shift had 50 volunteers. Waste from the area around the church from the previous two days was analysed. The volunteers were divided into groups that worked in six-hour shifts.

DAY-5

On October 4, 2022, day five of the Kanni 20 gathering, Day 5 was divided into three shifts, and each shift had 50 volunteers. The volunteers were divided into groups that worked in six-hour shifts. The program’s overall cost was $ 1000. The enthusiastic involvement of every NSS volunteer from both units 227 & 571and Programme Officerss made the event a grant success .
