The two-day college arts fest, “Rhythm 2024,” held on April 18-19, 2024, at Mar Baselios Institute of Technology and Science (MBITS) was a grand celebration of talent, creativity, and cultural exchange. The event kicked off on April 18th with an inaugural function that included a prayer song by the College Choir, setting a reverent tone for the festivities. The welcome address was delivered by Prof. Johny Joseph, Principal of MBITS, followed by an inspiring inaugural address from Rev. Fr. Jose Parathuvayalil, Vicar of Mar Thoma Cheriapally. Shri. Lal Varghese, Secretary of MBITS, and Dr. Shajan Kuriakose, Director of MBITS, also addressed the gathering, emphasizing the importance of arts in education. The Chairman of MBITS, Shri. P I Yacob, provided encouraging words, and felicitations were given by Mr. Athul P Mannikan, Arts Club Secretary, and Mr. Rahul Rajesh, Union Chairman. The session concluded with a vote of thanks from Asst. Prof. Abhilash K V, College Union In-Charge.
