The International Women’s Day was celebrated at MBITS on 8th March, 2023. The purpose of celebrating Women’s Day is – To raise awareness about the status and dignity of women among the students. An orientation class was conducted based on women’s day. The NSS programmer officer welcomed the gathering and introduced the speaker of the day was Ms. Mini Varghese Asst. Professor of Mar Baselios Nursing College Kothamangalam .The Chief guest of the day was Ms. Rachel K Varghese, Tahsildar Kothamanglam Taluk ,inaugurated the session. The session continued with an inspirational talk by Ms. Mini Varghese. She pointed out the importance maintenance of good mental health for being a strong woman in the society. She reminded the group that women empowerment is not just limited to dominating men, but flourishing with the opportunities with what we have.
