ONAM CELEBRATION AT ST JOSEPH ‘S ASYLUM OLD AGE HOME
Description: St.Joseph’s Asylum Old-age home hosted an Onam celebration on August 25th, 2023. It was a memorable moment. All MBITS NSS volunteers from both units (227 & 571), as well as the Programme Officers, attended the Onam celebration at St.Joseph’s Asylum Old-age home. The inaugration was conducted by Dr. P. Sojan Lal, the principal of MBITS. All of the volunteers and St.Joseph’s Asylum Old-age home members participated in various competitions such as Onam pattu, Dance, Games, and so on as part of the Onam celebration, and they loved the occasion. Food was distributed to all St.Joseph’s Asylum Old-age home members by Volunteers and Programme Officers. The program’s overall cost was 5000. The occasion was made a success by all of the NSS volunteers, programme officers, St.Joseph’s Asylum Old-age home members, and other dignitaries who came.
