On March 15, 2024, the IEEE Student Branch at Mar Baselios Institute of Technology and Science (MBITS) organized a Membership Development Session for first and second-year engineering students across all disciplines. The event took place in the APJ Seminar Hall at MBITS and saw an impressive turnout with over 150 students in attendance.
The morning session was led by Feny Roy, a software engineer at Key Value Software Systems, who shared valuable insights into the benefits and opportunities associated with IEEE membership. The afternoon session was conducted by Akhil Seby, the Membership Development Coordinator for the IEEE Signal Processing Society Kerala Chapter. He provided detailed guidance on leveraging IEEE resources for academic and professional growth.
