Under IEDC MBITS 56 students of MBITS along with faculties visited VSCC Trivandrum and LPSC Valiyamala on 05th April 2024.VSSC is one of the major centres of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). We reached there by 9:00 am and a security check was done and permitted the entry by 9:30. First we went to the Thumba church where the first rocket was launched. The church is now turned into a historical museum that praises the journey of success of ISRO over the years. We had a film show and an interactive session with the director of VSSC. We had a glorious opportunity to visit the launch pad with the special permission of the director. After all the visit we left the VSSC by 12:00.
Next we head to LPSC and had an interactive session with the scientist at a seminar hall and had an opportunity to witness various technologies emerging in the field of propulsion. We participated in an exhibition and the scientist there gave us many insights about how to be a part of ISRO. It was a fruitful journey to all of us. We thank all the faculties and IEDC MBITS for making us an opportunity to visit these places.
