On the occasion of the Kanni Perunnal at Mar Thoma Cheriya Pally, Kothamangalam, cloth bags were distributed to pilgrims as part of the Green Protocol Initiative.MLA Antony John inaugurated the distribution. Over 10,000 bags, collected by NSS units of MBITS aimed to promote the use of reusable bags over single-use carry bags. The initiative also included awareness programs on the importance of adhering to environmental regulations and waste management.
