MBITS NSS UNITS 227 & 571 as well as WOMEN CELL MBITS organised a number of programmes to raise awareness of breast cancer in collaboration with KARKINOS HEALTH CARE and MBMM HOSPITAL KOTHAMANGALAM.

The program’s overall cost was $ 1000. More than 100 students were involved in the awareness class and walkathon, which was how the programmes were carried out. Dr. Kiran Pascalice, a clinical and radiation oncologist of Karkinosw Health Care, led the awareness training. A diagnosis centre was also set up, and several persons were diagnosed. A poster contest, music programme, and fashion show were all held as a part of the awareness campaign.
