As part of the anti-drug awareness campaign, a Lahari Virudha Camp and Awareness Rally was organized jointly by Kavalangad Grama Panchayath and the Janamaithry Police Station Oonnukal on 7th October 2025. The program aimed to promote a drug-free community and spread awareness among the youth about the dangers of substance abuse. The event was inaugurated by Sri. Umesh Kumar, Narcotic Cell DySP, in the presence of various officials and dignitaries.
