International Centre for Free & Open Source Software is an organization that promotes the use of free and open-source software and hardware in various fields, including education, governance, and entrepreneurship. By partnering with this organisation, CYBORGS is able to reach a wider audience and make a greater impact in promoting the use of open-source technology. During the workshop, Mr. Justin Joseph spoke about the challenges women face in technology, and trained the students on Debian OS installation and usage of Debian commands like grep and ls. Overall, the Women Hackathon workshop conducted by CYBORGS in association with International Centre for Free & Open Source Software is a great initiative that can inspire more women to participate in technology and contribute to the development of innovative solutions using open-source technology.
