Awareness programme on upgrading skill set to cater to latest industry requirements

A program to upgrade skill set to cater latest industry requirements for the sixth semester and eighth semester students of the department of Civil Engineering was conducted on 23^rdJanuary 2025. The program was organized by Industry Institute Partnership Cell, MBITS in partnership with STHAPATHY (Civil Engineering Department Association, MBITS). The session was handled by Architect Jackson Paul, of Project Mate Kochi . The theme of the talk was “upgrading skill set of students to cater latest industry requirements”. A total number of 19 students from the sixth semester, Civil Engineering and 22 students from the eighth semester Civil Engineering participated in the session. The session was useful for the students in understanding the possibilities and job opportunities in the Civil Engineering Sector. It also helped students in understanding the importance of skill development along with academics in securing jobs in the Civil Engineering Industry.
