A Technical Session on Master Academic Writing with LaTeX was conducted on 3rd December 2025 at Visveswaraya Seminar Hall from 01:30 PM – 04:00 PM. The session was handled by Mr. Prof. Reshma S, HOD, Computer Applications, MBITS. The objective of the session was to introduce participants to academic writing using LaTeX and to enhance their skills in preparing professional research documents, reports, and technical papers.
A total of 47 participants including students and faculties took part in the event, gained hands-on knowledge of LaTeX tools and workflows, improved their academic writing skills, and developed confidence in preparing structured technical documents.
The technical session focused on the fundamentals of LaTeX, document structuring, formatting techniques, bibliography management, and best practices for academic writing. The resource person demonstrated practical examples and guided participants on creating high-quality academic documents.
