The Mechanical engineering department association has organized a technical Talk on 02nd April 2024 at APJ Abdul Kalam Seminar hall at 1.00 PM by Dr Georgekutty S Mangalathu, Associate Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Mar Athanasius College of Engineering, Kothamangalam.
The official function commenced at 1.30 pm and was inaugurated by the Principal, MBITS, Professor Johny Joseph. Mr Chethan Roy, SAE Coordinator and Assistant Professor, Mechanical Engineering officially welcomed the gathering. Mr Nedheesh Eldho Baby, HOD Mechanical Engineering, felicitated the gathering and Mr Adhy Santosh, S2 Mechanical Engineering student proposed the vote of thanks. The master of ceremony for the program was Mr Kevin S Dev, S2 Mechanical Engineering Student.
After the official function the floor was handed over to Dr Georgekutty S Mangalathu where he interacted with students about the opportunities they will get by being part of SAE India and also explained about the steps for SAE chapter formation. Dr Georgekutty also explained the performance of SAE MACE chapter and his personal experience as a mentor of SAE MACE for the past five years.
After his session Mr Chethan Roy, SAE Coordinator presented a memento as a token of appreciation to Dr Georgekutty S Mangalathu and the session was concluded by 4.10 PM.
