An Industrial talk on “Current Trends in Semiconductor Industry” was conducted on 6th April 2026 at the Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Seminar Hall from 11 AM – 12 PM. The session was handled by Mr. Paul Mathews, Physical Design Engineer, Blueberry Semiconductors Pvt. Ltd., Bangalore. He shared his industry experience and provided a comprehensive overview of semiconductor technologies and their applications in modern electronics.
The objective of the industrial talk was to provide students with insights into the latest trends and advancements in the semiconductor industry, and to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and industry expectations. A total of 91 participants including students and faculties took part in the event.
The speaker discussed key topics such as VLSI design, chip fabrication processes, and emerging trends in semiconductor technology. He emphasized the importance of strong core technical skills, industry-oriented learning, and continuous skill development for students aspiring to build a career in the semiconductor domain.
The session also highlighted job opportunities, required skill sets, and current industry demands. An interactive segment allowed students to clarify their doubts and gain better insight into potential career paths.
