A Technical Technical talk on Future-Ready Skills for the AI Era was conducted on 21st January 2026 at Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Seminar Hall from 3 PM to 4 PM. The session was handled by Mr. Anil Augustine, Senior Engagement Officer – CSR (EdTech)
The primary objective of the session was to equip students with essential future-ready skills required in the era of Artificial Intelligence. The program aimed to provide insights into emerging technologies, industry trends, and opportunities for skill development through digital learning platforms .
A total of 72 participants including students and faculties took part in the event, gained awareness of AI and emerging technologies. The session enhanced their understanding of future job trends and the importance of continuous learning. Students also learned about online platforms for skill development and industry-recognized certifications.
The speaker introduced the IBM Skills Build platform and demonstrated how students can access free learning resources and earn industry-recognized digital badges. A live walkthrough of the platform was provided, helping students understand how to utilize these tools effectively for skill enhancement.
The session was interactive and informative, encouraging students to explore new learning opportunities and prepare themselves for future career challenges.
