The Faculty Training Program on Virtual Labs, organized by the National Institute of Technology Karnataka (NITK) Surathkal, aimed to enhance the teaching capabilities of faculty members & Technical Staffs by familiarizing them with virtual laboratory tools and techniques. The training was designed to integrate modern educational technology into the curriculum, providing a hands-on experience that bridges the gap between theoretical concepts and practical applications
The primary objectives of the training program were:
- To introduce faculty members to the concept and importance of Virtual Labs.
- To provide hands-on training on various virtual lab platforms.
- To demonstrate the integration of Virtual Labs into the existing curriculum.
- To discuss the benefits and challenges of implementing Virtual Labs in an educational setup.
- To enable faculty members to create and manage virtual experiments for their courses
A total of 51 participants including the resource persons attended the program.
