The Department of Mechanical Engineering, Mar Baselios Institute of Technology and Science (MBITS), Kothamangalam, in association with BIMIT, Ernakulam, organized a Faculty Development Program (FDP) titled “Thermal Analysis in Fusion 360” on 4 and 8 December 2025 at Computer Lab 1, Main Block, for faculty members and students.
The Autodesk-certified programme focused on enhancing skills in computer-aided design, modeling, and thermal analysis using Fusion 360. Participants received hands-on training in part modeling, assembly creation, drawing generation, and thermal simulations, including the application of loads and boundary conditions.
Led by experienced resource persons from BIMIT – CAD and BIM Training Services, the FDP effectively bridged theory and practice, improving participants’ proficiency in modern CAD and simulation tools for academic, research, and industry applications.
