The Bulb Making Workshop was conducted on 28th February 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Electronics Workshop as part of the college Technical Fest. The event was coordinated by Prof. Anusree P S (Faculty Coordinator) and Navaneeth C V (Student Coordinator). The session was guided by Mr. Eldho A G, Tradesman at Mar Baselios Institute of Technology & Science, who served as the Resource Person. A total of 10 students actively participated in the workshop.
The primary objective of the workshop was to provide students with practical knowledge of basic electrical components and circuit assembly involved in bulb construction. The session included an explanation of the working principle of electric bulbs, types of bulbs (LED, incandescent), safety precautions, and hands-on training in assembling and testing simple bulb circuits. Participants were guided through the process of wiring, fitting components, and ensuring proper electrical connections.
The workshop was informative and skill-oriented, enabling students to understand fundamental electrical concepts through practical application. The event successfully enhanced participants’ hands-on skills and awareness of basic electrical assembly techniques.
