The Arduino Workshop was organized on 28th February 2026 from 2.00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Systems Lab (ECE) as part of the college Technical Fest. The event was coordinated by Prof. Christy Eldhose (Faculty Coordinator) and Adon Eldho (Student Coordinator). The session was handled by Mrs.Lathika S, Trade Instructor at Mar Baselios Institute of Technology & Science, Kothamangalam, who served as the Resource Person for the workshop. A total of 40 students from various colleges actively participated in the event.
The primary objective of the workshop was to provide participants with practical exposure to Arduino programming and embedded system applications. The resource person delivered an informative session covering Arduino architecture, installation and use of the Arduino IDE, and fundamental programming concepts. Hands-on activities such as LED interfacing, sensor integration, and basic project implementation were conducted to promote experiential learning.
The workshop was highly interactive and well-received by the participants. It successfully achieved its objective of enhancing students’ understanding of hardware-software integration and encouraging interest in embedded system development.
