V2G based Solar Powered Utility Vehicle- selected for Preliminary round of KPIT SPARKLE-2020, which is an all India level competition held at Pune by the theme “Mobility and Energy for Future

The final year students of EEE Dept. (2015-2019) have designed and fabricated a Solar Powered Utility Vehicle which has a provision for ON- Grid connectivity. It can supply energy back to Grid. The vehicle is powered by 1 KW BLDC Motor. It has an inbuilt MPPT Controller and a 48V to 230V Inverter system. The project was guided by Asst. Professors Arun Eldho Alias and Basil Kumar N.K of EEE Dept. The students who did the project are Georget Eldhose, Yadhu Mukundhan, Joel Simon, Ashin Wilson, Sneha Varghese, Sandeep Ani, Glen T George, Firdhousy PE, Maria Joy and Betty Benny. The project was well appreciated by Dr. S. Somanth, Director VSSC, ISRO. This was also selected for the preliminary round of KPIT SPARKLE- 2020, which is an all INDIA level competition held at Pune
