The Poster Design Competition using Canva was successfully organized by the IEEE Student Branch of MBITS on 22nd January 2025 at CSE Lab 7 from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM. The event aimed to enhance students’ creativity and design skills while encouraging them to explore the potential of Artificial
Intelligence (AI) in the future. Participants were given the opportunity to showcase their artistic abilities while learning to integrate AI-driven design elements effectively.
The competition provided hands-on experience with Canva, enabling participants to refine their visual communication and design thinking. The posters were evaluated based on creativity and innovation, relevance to the theme, aesthetic appeal, and clarity of message. This structure ensured that students focused on both artistic and technical aspects of digital design, fostering a deeper understanding of how visual content can effectively convey messages.
The event concluded with the announcement of winners, judged by a panel of faculty members and industry professionals. Their expertise provided valuable insights and constructive feedback to participants, helping them improve their design approaches.
