The IEI Students chapter, This year, our community organized a Poster Design Competition and an Awareness Program to highlight the theme “Accelerating Change to Solve the Water and Sanitation Crisis”. The event was Inaugurated by the Secretary of MBITS, Shri P P Vincent and the Dr. Shajan Kuriakose addressed the gathering by conveying importance of the World water day. Principal Prof. Johny Joseph, Head Dept. of Civil Engineering Prof Manju George addressed the gathering. Behalf of world water day the Students of IEI students chapter (The Institution of Engineers India) conducted a Campaign for conveying the message to save Water and also organized a poster design competition. The main objectives of the event were:
To engage the community, especially students, in creative expression concerning water conservation.
To raise awareness about global water issues and the importance of sustainable water management.
To inspire actionable steps within the community to address local water challenges.

Awareness program was organized by IEI students, Posters were placed in Canteen , Cafeteria, Washing area ,Toilets with different quotes mentioning the importance of water
Outcomes and Impact
Increased Awareness: The event significantly raised awareness about the critical issues related to water conservation and the importance of sustainable practices.
