MBITS Civil Engineering department organized a one day industrial visit to Punargeham project – construction of 400 flats at Muttathara Trivandrum on 2nd December 2023. Students of third, fifth, seventh semester and five staff members of civil engineering department reached the construction site by 2:00 P.M. The team was ably guided by Chief engineer Mr. Jomon K George, Harbour Engineering Department. Students had the experience of going through different stages of construction of civil engineering project including excavation, dewatering, compaction, foundation, block work, shuttering, reinforcement work and finishing works.
