The Drone Workshop was conducted on 27th February 2026 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the ECE department as part of KARNAK 2026 – the Department Technical Fest. The event was coordinated by Prof. Mercy George (Faculty Coordinator) and Fawaz T Hamsa (Student Coordinator). The session was handled by Mr Eldo George, Founder & CEO Abhram Technologies Pvt Ltd, who served as the Resource Person. A total of 19 students participated in the workshop.
The primary objective of the workshop was to provide students with fundamental knowledge of drone technology, including its components, working principles, and practical applications. The session covered topics such as flight control systems, motors and propellers, battery management, and basic drone assembly. Participants were also introduced to drone programming concepts and safety guidelines. A live demonstration of drone operation was conducted to enhance practical understanding.
The workshop was highly engaging and informative, enabling students to gain insight into unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) technology and its real-world applications. The event successfully enhanced participants’ technical knowledge and stimulated interest in robotics and aerospace-related technologies.
