On 26th January 2026, Republic Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit at MBITS. The programme was organized by NSS MBITS Units 227 and 571. The celebration began with the flag hoisting ceremony at 9:00 AM, followed by the National Anthem, Republic Day message, speech, and parade. Around 20 NSS volunteers actively participated in the programme.
The event was graced by the presence of esteemed officials including Treasurer George Koorpillil, Secretary Binoy Thomas Mannancheryil, Chairman Baby Thomas Anjiliveli, Preetcy Paul Kavungumpilly, and Board Member Jain Kattanganal. Their presence added dignity and significance to the celebration.
After the flag hoisting ceremony and other activities, a sapling plantation programme was conducted in the college grounds. In addition, saplings were donated to nearby homes, promoting environmental awareness and social responsibility. The programme conveyed an inspiring Republic Day message, reminding everyone of the importance of constitutional values, unity, and collective responsibility towards nation-building.
