The ASAP Coordinator of MBITS, Prof. Jikku George Kuruvilla, with the permission of the Principal, Dr. Thomas George, nominated Mr. Aditya Raj M. R. of S7 CSE A batch as the Skill Champion for the program. The Skill Champion participated in an expert-led online training session on “AI and GenAI in Action” held on July 9, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
Following the session, one proactive student from each batch was selected by the Skill Champion to serve as Batch Mentors. An internal training session for these Batch Mentors was conducted by the Skill Champion on July 10, 2025. Subsequently, each Batch Mentor organized a 1-hour peer-learning session in their respective classes on World Youth Skills Day – July 15, 2025, from 11:10 AM to 12:10 PM.
Through this initiative, a total of 554 students were trained by the Batch Mentors.
